ABOUT THE VINE & CELLAR
The grapes are hand-harvested from the unique Côte du Py terroir and typically fermented semi-carbonically before being transferred to foudres (big oak tanks) and a small amount in barrels for over a year.
ABOUT THE DOMAINE GAGET
The Gaget Estate is a family estate now managed by Michael Gaget. It extends over the Côte du Py, the most famous terroirs of the Morgon cru, due to the nature of the soil which gives Morgon exceptional properties: Morgon can be kept for 5 to 10 years in the cellar. Domaine Gaget is not only known for its Morgon Côte du Py, it is also renowned for its Morgon Grand Cras. The family also produces Beaujolais in red and white. Our wines are the combination of soil, a climate and human labour.
