A superb aged Riesling from one of the best sites in Northern Alsace, this 2011 Altenberg de Bergbieten has everything you can possibly expect from complex mature fine white wine. With subtle notes of petrol, honeyed lemon, acacia and white pepper, the palate has a light oily structure maintained by a vibrant acidity and a long mineral finish. Superb.
